1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in or using the services provided by Etopia Training (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Etopia Training offers professional development, coaching, and training programs designed to enhance skills and knowledge in various fields. The scope of services is outlined in the course description provided before enrollment.

3. Enrollment and Registration

• Eligibility: Delegates are strongly advised to read any prerequisites specified in the course page before registering for a program.
• Registration: Completing the registration form and payment process constitutes your agreement to participate in the selected course.
• Acceptance: Enrollment is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation email from us.

4. Fees and Payment

• Pricing: Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT and are applicable for the specific work only. All fees are detailed in the course description and are subject to change without notice.
• Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of enrollment unless otherwise specified.
• Refund Policy: Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:
  • • Within 7 days prior to service provision: 100% of total fee will be charged.
  • • 8 to 14 days prior to service provision: 50% of total fee will be charged.
  • • Over 14 days prior to service provision: No charge will be made.
• Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional fees and could affect enrollment status.

5. Invoicing

Invoices will be issued 3 weeks before training event begins. Standard payment terms are within 15 days from date of invoice, or seven calendar days prior to the first day of any event, whichever falls first. Exceptions to terms are only allowed if specified under prior contract agreement. Late payment may invoke terms as per The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided during the course are the intellectual property of Etopia Training. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited without prior written consent.

7. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

• • Engage respectfully with instructors and fellow participants.
• • Avoid disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
• • Refrain from using course materials for unauthorised purposes.

Failure to adhere to these standards may result in removal from the course without refund.

8. Working with Client's Data

On occasions, tailored training may involve working with client’s own data. Responsibility and ownership for this data remains with the client.  Any work or advice is undertaken on a “best efforts” training basis only and results and procedures are not guaranteed or warranted. 

9. Cancellation and Rescheduling by Etopia Training

Etopia Training reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered:

• • A full refund, or
• • Enrollment in a rescheduled or alternative course.

10. Limitation of Liability

Etopia Training is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the course.

11. Privacy Policy

Etopia Training collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your data as outlined in the policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom.

13. Satisfaction Guarantee

We at Etopia Training take pride in our courses and are committed to providing the best IT & business training available in Scotland. If you are not fully satisfied with the training, you may request a full refund of the course fees or re-enroll in an equivalent course at no additional cost. To qualify, participants must attend all scheduled sessions, actively participate, and submit a written request within 14 days of course completion, explaining the reason for dissatisfaction. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days, and replacement courses must be attended within 12 months of the original course date.

This Guarantee excludes custom-tailored courses, instances where participants fail to attend or engage, and dissatisfaction caused by issues outside our control (e.g., technical problems with the participant’s equipment). Refunds are limited to course fees paid and do not include associated expenses like travel or accommodation. Refunds can only be issued to the original card or bank account used for purchase. This refund policy is available only to organisations or individuals with a registered UK address.
